"f: strong + feminine" was my first complete series and project, and was self-published as a perfect-bound softcover photobook.
The project came to fruition as a result of my love of portraiture and the desire to capture personality in a single snapshot (I may have bitten off more than I could chew with that, it was ambitious). Photographing my friends, which turned into the project focusing entirely on womanhood and femininity, was a real treat! While much of the work is amateur, it was early in my development and taught me a lot. I learned about working with models, the importance of scouting locations and light, and how to build and finish a photo project. This is a project I am still proud of.
