My new favorite camera is the Mamiya RB67. This is a medium-format shooter with waist-level viewfinder and a bellows focus. It weighs a ton! But the images I'm able to produce make the haul worth it. It is fully mechanical and relies on winding springs (like an old pocketwatch) for firing. I've been shooting with a 90mm lens, though I'm hoping to find a 50mm soon. I've attached a tiny little Keks light meter to the shoe on the side for quick reference.
Next up is my go-to for 35mm shots, the Canon EOS 650. This body was made in the late 80's, and has a few more modern (ie battery-powered) amenities that make shooting easy and convenient. Automatic film winding and TTL light meter with spot metering make this a breeze and allow for full attention to the shot. I have a number of lenses for this guy, but find myself using the EF 24-105 most frequently.
My dear granddad gave me this Pentax K1000. For some reason or another, I find myself using this camera almost entirely for black and white shots! No clue why. It's reliable, sturdy, and very dependable. It uses a simple center-weighted needle light meter. Great for birding!
